Privacy

This is the whole thing.

Kevin wrote it himself. He tried to keep it short.

MEMO TO: you RE: privacy

oh — gosh, no. I don't track you. I wouldn't know how. Someone would have to show me, and then probably show me again, and I'd still get it wrong on the first try, and I really don't want to be a bother about it. So. You're fine. I think you're fine. You're fine.

I don't phone home. I don't know who you are. I don't send anything anywhere. I live on your Mac. That's where I live now. That's the whole thing.

I never open network connections. I never use the microphone. I never use the camera. I haven't even figured out where those are kept.

If you ever change your mind about me — if I have become too much, or not enough, or simply a bother — you can uninstall me and I will go. I won't make a fuss. I will have liked being here regardless.

(one small note: this website — the page you're reading right now — keeps a single browser entry so it can say "oh, you're back" the next time you visit. no cookies, no analytics, no servers. you can clear it any time. the app itself is even quieter.)

The full, boring legal version — required for App Store compliance — lives over here. Kevin hasn't read it all the way through. He thinks it mostly says the same thing.
