Privacy Policy.

1. Summary

Kevin is a macOS application developed by PaperCloud Studios ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what information Kevin handles, and what it does not. In short: Kevin does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. The app operates entirely on your device.

2. Information we do not collect

Kevin does not collect any of the following:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or any contact information
• Your location, IP address, or device identifiers
• Screen contents, the apps you use, or what you type
• Microphone, camera, or screen recording input
• Browsing history, files, or any other on-device content
• Usage analytics or behavioural data
• Crash reports (unless you voluntarily opt in via macOS' built-in diagnostics sharing, which sends reports to Apple, not to us)

3. Information stored locally

Kevin stores a small amount of data on your own Mac for the purpose of functioning as an application. This includes:

• Your preferences (e.g. quiet-hours setting, name tag customisation)
• Local state needed for the app to remember where Kevin last was, what he last said, and similar

This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to us or to any third party. You can remove it at any time by uninstalling the application, which removes Kevin's Application Support directory.

4. Network access

Kevin does not open network connections for its own purposes. It does not phone home, report back, fetch ads, or download tracking scripts. The only network activity that may occur is macOS performing its standard code-signature validation on first launch.

5. Third-party services

Kevin does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics providers, crash-reporting services, or advertising networks.

If you purchased Kevin through the Mac App Store, Apple's own Privacy Policy governs the purchase transaction — we do not see or store your payment information.

6. Children's privacy

Kevin is appropriate for users of any age. We do not knowingly collect any information from children or anyone else.

7. Your rights

Because we do not collect personal data, rights under the GDPR, CCPA, and similar regimes (access, deletion, portability, rectification) do not practically apply — there is nothing for us to produce or delete on your behalf.

8. This website (itskevin.app)

This website, which you are reading now, does not use cookies and does not run analytics. It stores a single local entry in your browser's localStorage to remember whether you've visited before, so the homepage can greet returning visitors. Clearing your browser storage removes this entry and has no other effect.

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. Standard request logs (IP addresses, user-agent strings, requested URLs) are processed by Vercel for operational and security purposes in accordance with Vercel's Privacy Policy. We do not independently collect, store, or query these logs.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in any material way, we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top. Substantive changes will also be announced in the release notes of the next app update.

Kevin is published by PaperCloud Studios, Sydney, Australia. For Mac App Store purchases, please use Apple's standard support channels via the App Store listing.
